Warren Court - Revelutionizing the Judicial System

The Warren Court was a gadfly attacking a government that was too hard on the "underdog".
In the Warrene court used two different actions which were Judicial restraint and judicial activism.
Judicial Restraint- Supreme court represented decision of the lower court as the law is written
Judicial Activism-Supreme Court overturns previous rulings of laws.

Some examples of Supreme Court cases that gave the underdog a fighting chance was Gideon v. Wainwright in 1961 and Miranda v. Arizona in 1966.
